Ordinal Number is the number used to represent the numerical position/rank of
an object. This is different from the cardinal number( 1, 2, 3 etc ) ,which represents only the quantity.
If 10 people take part in a swimming competition - the first three winning positions are represented as follows:
1st - First
2nd - Second
3rd - Third
